THE GRAND JOURNEY OF PHOTOGRAPHY

My first camera was a pocket camera with a cube flash and 12 shots on a roll. I was 7 years old and you couldn't get it out of my hands. Photography has come a long way since then.

I believe the greatest compliment an artist can have is to be told that he or she has inspired their audience in some way to go out and take pictures.

After I graduated from Plymouth College of Art and Design in 1994 I supplied images to photo libraries and had various articles published in mainly niche market magazines both national and international.

My photography has really only been a passionate hobby punctuated by bouts of enthusiasm sometimes leading to private work or images being published. It is becomming harder and harder to make money in the published world these days - certainly at reasonable rates.
